Competition team...

The Competition Team of PA-Grappling, central PA's top MMA school!

Anyone who wishes to compete and is honest about doing what is necessary to reach their potential for an event is on the "Competition Team."  Competition is about getting honest,  testing one's limits and learning and ultimately growing through the experience.  Winning is just a nice bonus!

Many of our students also train at other schools and other styles and we wholeheartedly encourage this -to reach one's potential, one must explore all avenues and train with as many legitimate sources as possible.  One has to get honest.  It's hard to lie to yourself after you've just been tapped or knocked out!

You'll notice that we compete in all types of competition; grappling with gi and no-gi, boxing, kickboxing and MMA.  We try to be well-rounded, complete fighters who can perform in all realms of combat.  Some of the guys have even competed in full-contact weapons matches!!!  The goal of it all is the experience, and the learning that comes through it.
